Neil is back at Imaginary Road Studios with producer Will Ackerman, working on his latest album “After The Rain”. The album will consist of 10 new compositions, featuring Neil on guitar and piano along with several musicians that appeared on his highly regarded “Learning To Fly” album. They include Grammy award winning guitarist and producer Will Ackerman, Tony Levin on bass (Peter Gabriel, King Crimson), Jeff Haynes on percussion (Pat Metheny, Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock), Premik Russell Tubbs on reeds (Santana, Sting, Whitney Houston), and Eugene Friesen on cello (Paul Winter Consort), in addition to some other top artists. The album will be co-produced by Ackerman, Tatar, and Tom Eaton, who also serves as studio engineer.
A recent winner of Zone Music Reporter’s Best New Artist Award, presented in May of 2016, Tatar’s previous releases both reached the #1 ranking on Zone Music Reporter’s Top 100 International Radio Airplay chart.
